Tahoe Donner Association is looking for a fun and personable Equestrian Camp Instructor to join our Equestrian Team! The Equestrian Camp Instructor is responsible for all aspects of horseback riding lessons, both private and group, including preparation, instruction, and administration of the lessons, and assisting with care of the horses. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provide excellent customer service to members, guests, business partners and employees. Ensures all staff meet or exceed the highest level of guest service in the performance of their duties. Uphold Tahoe Donner Association’s zero tolerance standard for sexual abuse and molestation by following protocols to protect participants from inappropriate behavior by staff, members, guests, public and other participants. Maintain current knowledge of Western and English horseback riding styles. Ability to instruct adult and children students on horseback riding, safety, and care of horses. Ability to mount, ride and guide horses. Ability to train or school horses as needed. Conducting weekly horsemanship camp according to camp daily outline while maintaining a safe working environment with the help of a camp assistant. Clean corrals, arena, restrooms and tack room as directed. Feed, groom and care for the horses and ponies. We have a full-time seasonal opportunity available!
