About The Position

Epoxy Mold Technician The Opportunity Hitachi Energy located in Alamo, TN is seeking an Epoxy Mold Technician to join its manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair molds, fixtures, and tooling used in the production of epoxy molded bushings. You will perform preventative maintenance and make process adjustments to optimize mold performance, quality, and throughput—while ensuring all work is completed in compliance with company policies and safety standards. How you’ll make an impact Inspect molds for quality and adherence to specifications Clean and lubricate molds; ensure molds, fixtures, and tooling are maintained in a production-ready condition Replace worn or broken parts and perform repairs to molds and related equipment Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on molds and machines; document maintenance activities as required Troubleshoot molding problems and support production to minimize downtime and scrap Monitor, evaluate, and optimize mold performance; adjust mold settings to support quality, efficiency, and throughput Follow all safety rules and procedures and ensure work meets required safety standards Your background High school diploma or equivalent Experience in mold making or a related field Maintenance or tooling experience preferred; epoxy mold experience will be considered in lieu of maintenance/tooling experience Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Strong mechanical aptitude Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)-Females/Minorities/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities Protected veterans and qualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in mold making or a related field
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Strong mechanical aptitude

Nice To Haves

  • Maintenance or tooling experience preferred; epoxy mold experience will be considered in lieu of maintenance/tooling experience
