The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Public Health and Safety Division in Helena. The Epidemiologist 2 is responsible for providing epidemiology support to the Immunization Section. Responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to: Conduct descriptive and predictive analyses on vaccination coverage using vaccine administration and survey data; Conduct regular evaluation of the surveillance systems available to measure population-level vaccination coverage; Design, coordinate, and manage enhanced vaccination surveillance activities during emerging vaccine preventable disease events (e.g., pandemic influenza, licensure of the a new vaccine product); Develop and conduct trainings for local and tribal health jurisdictions and vaccine providers; Design and conduct program evaluations.
