Summary: Under the direction of the Program Manager of Digital Transformation, the Business Analyst will optimize and support our ERP environment. In this role, you’ll act as the bridge between manufacturing operations and technology—ensuring Epicor (Kinetic / Epicor 10) is aligned with business needs, adopted effectively, and continuously improved This position will be responsible for our Wisconsin facilities in Darien & Beloit.
Requirements
- 3+ years as a Business Analyst or ERP Analyst in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with Epicor ERP (Kinetic and/or Epicor 10)
- Strong understanding of discrete manufacturing processes
- Experience with MRP, inventory, production, and purchasing
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with MTO/MTS/ETO or mixed-mode manufacturing
- Epicor implementation or upgrade experience
- BAQs, dashboards, BPMs, or Epicor data tools
- Power BI or other BI/reporting tools.
- CAD/PDM or engineering system integrations
- Epicor certifications
Responsibilities
- Epicor ERP Ownership Serve as the functional SME for Epicor ERP (Kinetic / Epicor 10)
- Configure, support, and enhance Epicor modules to meet business requirements
- Translate business needs into system solutions, workflows, and configurations
- Support Epicor implementations, upgrades, and new feature rollouts
- Manufacturing & Supply Chain Support Support end-to-end manufacturing processes including MRP/MPS, BOMs & routings, production scheduling, MES, inventory, purchasing, and supplier management
- Partner with engineering on ECO/ECN and product data processes
- Analyze operational data to identify process and system improvements.
- Business Analysis & Process Improvement Gather and document business requirements
- Create functional specs, process maps, and test cases
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce manual effort
- Promote Epicor best practices while balancing real-world manufacturing needs
- Reporting, Testing & Training Develop and support BAQs, dashboards, and operational reports
- Collaborate with BI teams (e.g., Power BI) to ensure data accuracy
- Lead UAT and post-deployment stabilization
- Train end users and create documentation
- Provide Epicor support and coordinate with Epicor consultants
- All other duties as assigned by management
