About The Position

This position is responsible for clinical/business systems analysis, data management, technical support, maintenance, application and configuration, quality improvement, user support, implementation and standards and regulation of the Clinical and Business Systems throughout the organization. Responsible for all aspects of systems planning, development, and implementation including new systems, systems upgrades and enhancements. Responsible for providing analyst leadership and direction, as well as project management for small to medium sized projects. Responsible for the development and support of a stable, reliable, and customer-oriented clinical/business system and applications that meet the needs of users and the organization. The Epic Resolute Professional Billing Claims & Remit Analyst will implement and support the Epic PB and Claims module within the organization, with understanding of upstream and downstream data sources to be able to investigate the root causes of claims errors and configuration. A certification or accreditation in PB Claims and Remit is required and dual certification or accreditation in Resolute HB and PB is ideal. As most Epic applications ultimately contribute data to claims, the Analyst should know where each piece of data on claims forms originates in Epic. A Project Management mindset and demonstrated Analysts leadership in leading and facilitating enhancements, process improvements, and Epic system optimization is preferred. We are currently for applicants that are already Epic certified. Must FL resident and be available to work on-site daily as needed (3-5 days/week).

Requirements

  • Require Associate Degree in Information Systems, Informatics, Business Administration, Nursing or appropriate clinical or business field. Relevant work experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis for required degree.
  • Require five (5) years of applicable clinical/business systems/IT experience, preferably in a multi-entity health care system, large hospital, physician office, or managed care organization. Bachelor degree in a related field may substitute for up to two (2) years of required experience.
  • Require demonstrated leadership skills with innovative resolution to problems .
  • Require excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Require excellent analytical, judgment and people skills.
  • A certification or accreditation in PB Claims and Remit is required
  • Must FL resident and be available to work on-site daily as needed (3-5 days/week).

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer broad experience in systems analysis, design, development and integration of large enterprise wide application systems.
  • Prefer experience in multiple healthcare clinical system implementations and support is required with the ability to understand and communicate how the various systems interact from an enterprise perspective.
  • Prefer experience with multiple clinical computer systems, database applications, and software applications including configuration, software testing, implementation, data manipulation and report generation.
  • Position may require at least one Software Certification in job area of focus.
  • dual certification or accreditation in Resolute HB and PB is ideal.
  • A Project Management mindset and demonstrated Analysts leadership in leading and facilitating enhancements, process improvements, and Epic system optimization is preferred.
