About The Position

The Epic HIM Analyst is responsible for the build, configuration, support, and optimization of Epic Health Information Management (HIM) applications. This role ensures accurate medical record management, chart completion, coding workflows, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Responsibilities

  • Build, configure, and support Epic HIM modules including Chart Completion, Deficiency Tracking, Release of Information (ROI), and Coding.
  • Support provider documentation and clinical documentation integrity (CDI) workflows.
  • Configure document types, record management rules, and retention policies.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, Joint Commission , and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with HIM, Coding, CDI, Revenue Cycle, Clinical, and IT teams.
  • Perform unit, integrated, and user acceptance testing (UAT); resolve issues and defects.
  • Support chart corrections, amendments, and ROI requests.
  • Monitor HIM work queues, reports, and dashboards; recommend improvements.
