About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Epic EHR Support Analyst to play a key role in a large‑scale transition from NextGen to Epic within a healthcare organization supporting 800+ end users. This role partners closely with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders and serves as a liaison with an external Epic hosting partner to ensure system functionality aligns with real‑world workflows and success metrics. This is a hands‑on support role focused on front‑end Epic support, user assistance, and go‑live readiness—not Epic build.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Epic or EMR support experience (help desk, support analyst, or similar role)
  • Experience supporting healthcare workflows and clinical systems
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, workflows, and UAT testing concepts
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to support users live, including phone‑based troubleshooting
  • Solution‑oriented mindset with strong customer service skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting OCHIN Epic (highly preferred)
  • Epic support experience within FQHCs, health systems, or safety‑net organizations
  • EMR/Epic support experience from large healthcare systems (e.g., ambulatory, acute, revenue cycle, or patient access)
  • Epic Certified Trainer or go‑live / at‑the‑elbow support experience
  • Experience training providers and clinical staff on EHR systems

Responsibilities

  • Provide Epic help desk and application support across multiple clinical departments
  • Perform ticket triage, troubleshooting, and real‑time issue resolution
  • Support UAT testing, workflow validation, and system optimization
  • Deliver “at‑the‑elbow” and go‑live support to clinical and administrative users
  • Manage front‑end Epic functions such as user access, preference lists, and limited billing workflows
  • Collaborate with technical teams, reporting teams, and operational leaders to understand workflows and system needs
  • Assist with training, onboarding, and mentoring of users as needed
