Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems in order to automate or modify existing systems. Carries out all duties while maintaining compliance and confidentiality and promoting the mission and philosophy of the organization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Five (5) or more years of related work experience.
  • Must become Proficient or Certified in Epic Resolute, Prelude or related module approved by Management within 12 months of employment.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Strong computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal & problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to engage others, listen and adapt response to meet others’ needs.

  • In-depth knowledge of CMS/ARC clinic operations and billing & collections functions and how they interrelate.

Responsibilities

  • Creation and maintenance of Epic Master Files as assigned, including builds, tests and debugging.
  • Identifies potential system problems and training opportunities related to Epic.
  • Assists in testing for monthly updates and annual release upgrades.
  • Consults appropriate reference materials to verify proper outcomes.
  • Provides guidance and advice to all levels of users within technical expertise.
  • Works with end users in billing and collections units to understand needs and requirements in order to recommend solutions.
  • Prepares and maintains documentation of new processes and workflows.
  • Communicates changes and updates to end-users.
  • Researches technology and identifies ways to automate current processes or make necessary system enhancements/changes in order to streamline processes.
  • Builds, tests, troubleshoots, and maintains software.
  • Adheres to all company policies, including but not limited to, OSHA, HIPAA, compliance and Code of Conduct.
  • Regular and dependable attendance.
  • Follows the core competencies set forth by the Company, which are available for review on CMSweb.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
