JOB SUMMARY This job is responsible for the configuration, rollout, and ongoing support of the assigned Epic application(s). Responsibilities include business/systems analysis, requirements definition and documentation, systems design, and problem resolution. The Senior Epic analyst communicates with end-users of the system to understand and resolve complex issues and implement solutions. Senior Analysts are subject matter experts in their area of knowledge. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Plans, designs/builds, tests, implements and maintains Epic software. Develops and documents workflow analysis while evaluating user experience. Supports and maintains environment or applications using advanced knowledge of the application(s) and technologies in the environment while recommending enterprise-level solutions. Using advanced knowledge of Epic, configures changes within the system to provide standardized, comprehensive workflows. Makes decisions that refine and improve current practices; develops new approaches and recommends solutions by researching best practices and assessing new technologies or functionality. Contributes to/manages medium to large moderately complex projects that are broad in scope and require depth of knowledge. Updates stakeholders as appropriate on a timely basis regarding progress on assigned tasks, projects, and issues. Conducts problem-solving and root cause analysis to complete assignments and visualize, articulate, and solve moderately complex problems. Participates in and may lead continuous improvement initiatives. Guides and assists with training less experienced Analysts. May serve as a subject-matter expert in the assigned module(s).
