This job reviews, analyzes, and modifies systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support Epic systems; consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives while relying on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Epic Certification within 90 days of curriculum start.
  • Basic knowledge of Epic systems and ability to encode, test, debug, and install elements to support Epic systems.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • Project management skills and ability to effectively manage multiple demands in fast paced environment.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and researching skills and ability to perform Gap analysis.
  • Ability to design and implement technical solutions and processes.
  • Ability to travel throughout and between facilities and work flexible hours (weekends/holidays/nights/call).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

  • Performs analysis of assigned applications and business processes/functions.
  • Modifies and supports assigned applications/systems as appropriate.
  • Partners and communicates with assigned customers/end users.
  • Enhances professional competency by obtaining Epic certification.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
