Stefanini is looking for an Environmental Waste Management Specialist in Bordentown, NJ 08505 For quick Apply, please reach out to Maria Teresa Paje, call 248 263 8623/ email: [email protected] Job Title: Environmental Waste Management Specialist Main Office Location: 410 US130, Bordentown, NJ 08505 100% onsite field work at various project sites (Burlington, Camden, Mercer, Gloucester counties) Job Description: Provide field work support for waste disposal needs of various waste streams (e.g., soils, water, drums, etc.). Execute manifests and sign off on T&M worksheets. Direct contractors/vendors on job assignments for the day and provide site access when necessary. Track various waste streams including but not limited to water shuttling and/or water disposal quantities, soil shipments, rolloff container inventories, drum inventories, etc. Ensure contractors/vendors have the appropriate PPE, safety requirements, documentation, and equipment/materials to complete services being requested. Complete oversight of environmental sampling needs and/or spill cleanup on project sites. Required: Computer skills including Microsoft applications and database entry. Effective communication skills to work with Project Coordinators and various vendors/contractors. Valid driver's license. Preferred Skills: Department of Transportation (DOT) training. Construction Safety Training & Certifications. Details: Manager's Notes Almost 100% in field. Managing and overseeing vendors. Kicking off safety meetings. Excellent communication, troubleshooter, tracking inventory of site activities. Wearing proper PPE and ensuring vendors are using proper PPE. Microsoft applications are a plus. Must be ontime or early to job site. Lots of driving - valid driver's license. Reliable transportation. DOT Training is preferred, but not required. A lot of oversight tasks. Would be ideal to have someone local to Burlington or Camden. Mon - Friday, potential for Saturday work (73p or so). Environmental background would be a plus, but not required. Reimbursed for mileage. DOT training is preferred, but not required. Any Waste Management experience and experience completing manifest documents.
