About The Position

ECC is seeking an Environmental Technician/Water Treatment Plant Operator . This position is responsible for performing daily operational duties of a Class B Water Treatment Facility near Portsmouth, NH. In this position, you will: Perform daily operation of a Class B Water Treatment Facility Perform operational duties, daily testing and record keeping as well as process control functions Responsibilities also include regulatory and safety compliance Assist with routine maintenance and facility grounds upkeep In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position

Requirements

Apply basic knowledge of relevant principles and tools, as directed
Apply standard protocol for work, as directed
Communicate effectively by written and verbal means
Perform multiple concurrent tasks and meet timelines, as directed
Work well independently and as a team
One year of relative coursework or project experience in water treatment plant Operations
Education - High School diploma or GED is required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.
