About The Position

Climate Strategy: Execute carbon neutrality workstreams and partner with the global team to develop strategies that achieve near- and long-term climate targets. Disclosures: Lead the development and timely submission of required climate-related disclosures, performing rigorous data reviews to guarantee accuracy and completeness. Risk Assessments: Develop comprehensive climate-related risk assessments, including physical and transition risks, to satisfy current and future regulatory requirements. Reporting Tools: Accelerate the implementation of tools to increase the efficiency and precision of future sustainability reporting. Life Cycle Assessments: Deliver ongoing Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) to fulfill regulatory mandates and respond to customer transparency requests. ESG Innovation: Innovate ESG data management by identifying and implementing opportunities for automation, including the integration of AI and other technologies. Sustainable Materials: Propel Ford's strategies and ambitions regarding sustainable materials by collaborating with key stakeholders in Supply Chain Sustainability and Research & Innovation. Established and active employee resource groups

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or environmental science
  • 3+ years of experience in project management
  • 3+ cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Supply Chain, Product Development, and Research & Analytics
  • Effective oral and written communication and presentation capabilities across a broad range of organizations and management levels globally, including vice presidents
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to work in an unstructured environment
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, within Ford and with external entities
  • Strong relationship building
