The Corporate Footprint organization is the engine behind this transformation, providing the strategy, data integrity, and cross-functional leadership required to meet our environmental goals. In this position... You will serve as a strategic partner across the enterprise, collaborating with Supply Chain, Research & Advanced Engineering (R&A), and global workstreams to integrate sustainability into our operations. Your work will span the entire lifecycle of our products—from the sustainable sourcing of materials to the delivery of complex Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) that meet evolving global regulations and customer expectations. We are looking for a candidate who balances technical rigor with a mindset for innovation. Whether it’s benchmarking industry leaders or exploring how AI can automate ESG data management, you will be empowered to find efficiencies that allow our team to focus on what matters most: accelerating Ford’s transition to a sustainable, circular economy. This role is hybrid and requires at least 4 days per week onsite in Allen Park, MI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or environmental science.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management.
  • 3+ cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Supply Chain, Product Development, and Research & Analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Climate Strategy: Execute carbon neutrality workstreams and partner with the global team to develop strategies that achieve near- and long-term climate targets.
  • Disclosures: Lead the development and timely submission of required climate-related disclosures, performing rigorous data reviews to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
  • Risk Assessments: Develop comprehensive climate-related risk assessments, including physical and transition risks, to satisfy current and future regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting Tools: Accelerate the implementation of tools to increase the efficiency and precision of future sustainability reporting.
  • Life Cycle Assessments: Deliver ongoing Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) to fulfill regulatory mandates and respond to customer transparency requests.
  • ESG Innovation: Innovate ESG data management by identifying and implementing opportunities for automation, including the integration of AI and other technologies.
  • Sustainable Materials: Propel Ford’s strategies and ambitions regarding sustainable materials by collaborating with key stakeholders in Supply Chain Sustainability and Research & Innovation.
