The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency wants you to be our newest environmental specialist in the Division of Air Pollution Control (DAPC), working at our Central Office in downtown Columbus, Ohio. We are looking for a focused, goal-oriented go-getter (you) to work with staff and the regulated community on all operations of the software that includes permitting, applications, and report processing. You are going to develop training materials and conduct training for DAPC staff and the community on the use of the software and maintain all documentation regarding its functionality. You will serve at the primary contact for the regulated community, district offices, local air agencies, and the public for permits and applications that specifically relate to the implementation of the software. You will also work with DAPC staff to help ensure the software is working effectively. You're going to administer the Emissions Statement Program and reconcile DAPC facility data with the Agency Core database using established software - and you'll serve as the backup for the other environmental specialists to handle fee management duties for the division.
