Porters Neck Village is recruiting for a hospitality focused Environmental Services Technician to join our team! This position is responsible for performing housekeeping, laundry, annual cleaning, trash pick up and other general cleaning duties throughout the community.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Valid drivers license with satisfactory driving record.
  • Satisfactory background check, drug screen, and TB test.

Nice To Haves

  • Three to six months experience in housekeeping or janitorial position preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Exemplify at all times Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization.
  • Responsible for performing a variety of housekeeping and laundry functions to maintain an attractive, clean, and comfortable environment to meet the needs of residents.
  • Performs scheduled cleaning duties such as cleaning restrooms, dusting, cleaning furniture, trash disposal, dusting blinds, cleaning windows, mirrors and fixtures.
  • Completes work orders as assigned.
  • Conducts annual cleaning associated with residential units and common areas including behind appliances and other heavy structures.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of floors, stairways, entrances and exits.
  • Cleans flooring to include sweeping, vacuuming/mopping and the use of refinishes and stripping agents, sealers and buffers and the cleaning of tile/grout.
  • Helps collects soiled laundry in assigned units
  • Assures patio tables, umbrellas, benches, etc. are clean throughout the community.
  • Fills in for housekeeping as needed.
