Environmental Services Technician II is responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, & bonneting of areas that include offices, patient rooms, boardrooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and other public areas such as cafeterias Other required duties may be assigned by the supervisor such as light maintenance (cleaning inside light bulb covers, air conditioner vents, etc.) Also responsible for trash removal, Regulated Medical Waste removal and soiled linen collection All other duties as assigned Physical Demands: Moderate to heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 pounds) Prolonged extensive or considerable standing/walking Lifts supplies and equipment Pushes/pulls or moves/lifts heavy equipment/supplies Manual dexterity and mobility is required Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching is required
