We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time, Environmental Services/Housekeeping Tech II to join our newest Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in The Vista. The Environmental Services/Housekeeping Tech II is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for the residents, patients, visitors and staff. Dusts, removes trash from rooms, cleans bathrooms and mops floors. In addition, they are responsible for the care of soft and hard wood floor surfaces, transports garbage, moves furniture and completes a variety of project work such as window washing. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of Christian Health.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates compliance with the CH ASPIRE Standards of Performance
  • Valid driver's license preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hard and soft floor care preferred

Responsibilities

  • Dusts, removes trash from rooms, cleans bathrooms and mops floors
  • Responsible for the care of soft and hard wood floor surfaces
  • Transports garbage
  • Moves furniture
  • Completes a variety of project work such as window washing
  • Burnish using a 20 inch hi-speed machine up to 1,000 square feet at one time
  • Vacuum carpet with upright vacuum (weight 20 pounds)
  • Dust mop and wet mop floors
  • Visually inspect work for quality completion
  • Maintain chemicals in proper containers, use chemicals as labels specify
  • Picks up garbage and recycling
  • While in a resident room or resident care area, observes and immediately reports to Charge Nurse any resident needs, resident incidents or clinical equipment in need of adjustment or repair
  • Shampoo using a 20 inch roto up to 15,000 square feet at one time
  • Deliver supplies with the aide of a dolly
  • Move beds with the aide of a desk lifter
  • Wash walls and windows
