The City of Olympia’s Water Resources Division within the Public Works Department seeks an intern to assist with their Education and Outreach efforts. Water Resources is involved in many types of public education and outreach, including efforts to reduce or eliminate nonpoint pollution. Potential non-point pollution sources include nutrient and pesticide runoff, pet waste, sediment runoff, and automotive-related pollutants. The City of Olympia is seeking an intern to provide administrative and organizational support to the Utility’s stormwater education and outreach programs. The intern will assist the Senior Stormwater Outreach Specialist with a wide variety of stormwater-related programs.
