Sodexo is seeking a temporary Environmental Services Operations Manager for a full time role at Community Medical Center, in Toms River, NJ. This is a 617 bed acute care hospital, managing a team of 89 client paid staff. A vibrant waterfront community, Toms River offers a wide variety of recreational activities and is 1.5 hours from Philadelphia. This custodial manager will oversee Mid Shift (10:00am start time) and as business needs dictate, some rotating weekends & holidays. We're looking for someone with a hospitality mindset; with strong customer and employee engagement experience that comes from a healthcare, hotels, custodial, or corporate housekeeping background. Requirements

  • have experience leading, training and managing a team and is a leader who develops and motivates a team
  • have customer service and/or guest satisfaction in a healthcare or hospitality
  • possess strong leadership skills and has the ability to work independently to drive program
  • have experience effectively managing floor care projects within agreed upon timelines
  • are results and safety driven
  • are proficient with computers and other technology
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services

Responsibilities

  • be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores
  • provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department
  • lead teams and departmental projects and initiatives
  • effectively manage the Unit Operating System
