About The Position
Environmental Services Assistants (EVS) are responsible for keeping our facilities clean, safe, and looking great! EVS Assistants have contact with other employees, visitors, and patients, and need to have good communication skills. They also must follow safety and infection control policies and procedures at all times. It is important that they practice confidentiality concerning patients, employees and the public at all times. Requirements
- To perform in this position satisfactorily requires that the person be able to read and write and follow written and oral directions.
- Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening process required.
- Must be able to attend the work site as scheduled.
Responsibilities
- Clean & disinfect public areas, restrooms, offices and exam rooms
- Trash & Recycling collection
- Floor care (vacuuming/extracting/sweeping/moping)
- Dusting
- Cleaning of glass
- Maintaining equipment and storage/supply areas
- Assist in other areas as requested
