About The Position

The Environmental Services (EVS) Educator operates under the direct supervision of the assigned manager and/or director at their designated work location. This role is responsible for assisting with, planning, coordinating, evaluating, and implementing all operational and educational programs within Environmental Services. Key duties include managing the new hire orientation and onboarding program, as well as designing, developing, and facilitating comprehensive training strategies across the organization. The EVS Educator is also accountable for cultivating and maintaining a culture of safety within the department. Applicants should demonstrate a strong ability to analyze and evaluate training and development needs within the department. They must be skilled at building and maintaining effective professional relationships across teams and stakeholders, with a proven capacity to collaborate with Innovation & Expertise Teams in order to drive organizational improvements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to assess training needs and design development programs
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Patience and sensitivity working with diverse learners
  • Experience teaching groups and individuals at all levels
  • Knowledge of eLearning, training software, and web streaming
  • Familiarity with best practices, relevant laws, and tools
  • Reliable time management and organizational abilities
  • Expertise in soft skills training and curriculum design
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree
