The Environmental Scientist will support permitting, environmental assessments, and technical reporting for a variety of commercial and energy-sector clients. This position will have both field and office responsibilities. This role offers exposure to fast-paced, high-impact environmental work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Biology , or a related field
  • 2-6 years of experience in environmental consulting or a related field
  • Experience with Phase I ESAs , permitting, and environmental reporting
  • GIS experience required
  • Strong technical writing and report preparation skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a primarily office-based role
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite

Nice To Haves

  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support environmental projects through permitting, GIS, and Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) activities
  • Conduct site visits and assist with environmental due diligence efforts
  • Prepare and contribute to Phase I ESA reports , technical reports, and project documentation
  • Utilize GIS tools to support mapping, data visualization, and environmental analysis
  • Collect and interpret environmental data as needed
  • Collaborate with project managers and technical staff to meet client deliverables
  • Provide field support on projects
  • Follow established safety protocols and maintain a strong safety-first mindset
  • Actively engage in professional development and career growth
