About The Position

KeenLogic is seeking a Mid-Level Scientist (HRP) to support our team with one of our government clients. This position supports Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) in delivering environmental compliance support across Department of Defense (DoD) facilities. The role supports environmental compliance for industrial operations, including utilities such as chiller plants, boiler plants, and incinerators. Responsibilities include regulatory coordination, reporting, and compliance monitoring. This is a 5-year contract. This role is onsite at the Pentagon.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering OR Master’s degree in science or engineering
• 6+ years of experience with a bachelor’s OR 4+ years with a master’s
• Air permitting and implementation
• Wastewater permitting and implementation
• Stormwater permitting and implementation
• Hazardous waste and chemical inventory compliance
• ODS inventory and compliance
• Fuel storage tank compliance
• Meeting with regulators and operations staff to coordinate environmental compliance efforts
• Preparing reports, presentations, permit applications, design review comments, and databases
• Performing internal assessments and auditing
