About The Position

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is expanding and looking for a motivated Environmental Scientist (1–3 years of experience) to join our Laurel/Baltimore team. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career environmental professional who’s eager to build skills, take on new challenges, and grow alongside a well-established and respected firm. In this role, you’ll be part of GTA’s Environmental Department, supporting a diverse client base and contributing to meaningful projects including environmental due diligence, regulatory consulting, site remediation, and redevelopment initiatives. You’ll gain hands-on experience while working closely with experienced professionals who are invested in your development.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering
1–3 years of experience conducting Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A self-starter who is organized, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing high-quality work

Responsibilities

Prepare clear, effective reports and project deliverables, including figures, tables, summaries, and exploration logs
Complete accurate Daily Field Reports, Chain of Custody forms, field logs, sketches, and other documentation
Support field investigations and data analysis in compliance with regulatory requirements
