Barr is looking for additional project management and leadership support for environmental review and permitting projects. The person in this position will lead and assist teams in managing federal and state permitting and environmental review opportunities across the United States, with an emphasis on (although not limited to) transportation, renewable energy, minerals extraction, and natural resource management services in New Mexico and the greater Southwest United States. A successful person in this role is intrinsically motivated and emphasizes client service with team collaboration and development. They enjoy working independently and as part of a team, using their project management expertise, team-building capabilities, and technical ability for a variety of projects. They are flexible in working with their project teams and are willing to occasionally modify schedules to meet project deadlines and/or client needs. This person is also relationship-focused, as the role involves serving both internal and external clients. Hybrid: a hybrid work arrangement may be considered for this position. A hybrid work arrangement refers to splitting time worked between a Barr office and a home office. This position is based out of Barr's Albuquerque, New Mexico, office. Note: Although this position is considered hybrid, we expect this position to be in the office 2–3 times per week for in-person collaboration opportunities. Travel expectation: up to 10% of your time, may vary based on project and client needs. Work environment: some work locations may feature rough terrain typical of construction sites and may also require entering and working in facilities that include limited accessibility, moving machinery, and other conditions typical of industrial facilities. Safety training will be provided.
