Requirements

• Degree in Geology, Engineering or Environmental Sciences.
• 1-3+ years' experience with Phase I ESAs, Phase IIs, including site visits, soil/groundwater sampling and report writing.
• Valid US Drivers license.
• Perform field work under limited supervision and in accordance with Atlas and Client safety protocol.
• Able to effectively manage time and prioritize projects with minimal supervision to meet established criteria.
• 40hr OSHA HAZWOPER certification, current HAZWOPER refresher
• Desire to obtain relevant professional registration or certification, if not already obtained.
• Working knowledge of Kentucky and Indiana environmental regulations.
• Ability to travel, up to 25% of the time.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Willingness to obtain asbestos/lead paint inspector license, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete Phase I ESAs, Phase II limited site investigations and report writing.
• Conduct soil/groundwater surface water and storm water sampling.
• Drilling oversight, soil sampling, and boring log preparation.
• Interaction with laboratories.
• Preparation and management of field supplies and equipment.
• Field and technical oversight, including quality control and quality assurance for project activities, and standard operating procedures and reports.
• Assist with review.
• Technical report writing and deliverables to Project Managers.
• Some interaction with regulatory and government agencies.
• Provide support to Project Managers.
