Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate environmental science, biology, environmental Engineering or related program
  • Attention to detail
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer 2 years completed toward a degree with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages
  • Local candidates preferred

Responsibilities

  • Obtain real-world experience in exciting drinking water, wastewater, energy, sustainability, resiliency, and/or ecological restoration projects
  • Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals’ programs
  • Apply standard science and engineering techniques and procedures
  • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
  • Perform other duties as needed
  • Habitat Restoration and Mitigation
  • Design concept development
  • Permitting and compliance support
  • Monitoring and reporting
  • Field surveys and bio-benchmarking assessments
  • Offshore Wind construction compliance support
  • Offshore Wind transmission planning
  • Endangered Species Act Permit compliance
  • Ecological and Water Quality Monitoring
  • Support Nanuet Laboratory projects, including field surveys, laboratory analysis, data analysis, and reporting.
