Trueline is seeking an Environmental & Real Estate Associate to join their Boston team. This role offers high exposure to complex environmental permitting, land use strategy, and real estate deals, while working in a tight-knit practice that delivers boutique-style development within a large-firm platform. What You’ll Do as the Environmental & Real Estate Associate: Provide strategic counsel on Massachusetts environmental law, including permitting, land use/zoning, environmental risk & liability in real estate and business transactions Advise clients (including developers, industrial/manufacturing foes, utilities, and energy providers) through regulatory compliance, agency enforcement, CERCLA, RCRA, and other state/federal environmental matters Support or lead real estate transactions—acquisitions, dispositions, leases, development and construction agreements—and collaborate with a small team to deliver high-touch service Work directly with clients and a lean group structure (typically partner plus 2–3 associates), gaining early, meaningful responsibility and client-facing experience
