Work Environment Location: Mark Center (Primary), Pentagon Travel: 20% for site visits and stakeholder meetings Security: Secret clearance required for comprehensive facility access Key Responsibilities Support master planning and land use management initiatives Conduct environmental feasibility studies for facility improvements Develop climate resilience and adaptation strategies Support NEPA compliance for major construction projects Analyze environmental impacts of proposed facility changes Coordinate with architectural and engineering teams Develop sustainability metrics and reporting frameworks Experience Requirements 8-12 years environmental planning and sustainability experience Climate resilience and adaptation planning experience NEPA compliance experience preferred Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Urban Planning, or related field Master's degree preferred Certifications AICP (American Institute of Certified Planners) certification preferred LEED Accredited Professional preferred Envision Sustainability Professional preferred Required Skills Strong background in environmental impact assessment Knowledge of NEPA process and documentation requirements Experience with climate change adaptation planning GIS and spatial analysis capabilities Understanding of sustainable design principles Project management and stakeholder coordination skills This Position is Contingent Upon Award. Requirements

  • 8-12 years environmental planning and sustainability experience
  • Climate resilience and adaptation planning experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Urban Planning, or related field
  • Strong background in environmental impact assessment
  • Knowledge of NEPA process and documentation requirements
  • Experience with climate change adaptation planning
  • GIS and spatial analysis capabilities
  • Understanding of sustainable design principles
  • Project management and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Secret clearance required for comprehensive facility access
