About The Position

This position conducts routine environmental monitoring activities in classified and non-classified areas. Performs routine QC responsibilities as needed. Applies cGMP practices during the execution of all work tasks. Exhibits strong teamwork skills. Updates supervisor of progress on a regular basis.

Exposure to cGMP regulations and work experience in a regulated environment are preferred.
Adequate computer skill.
Employees must be flexible working various shifts (including weekends, holidays, early and late shifts) and “call in” time to support business needs will be required.
Completed High School with 0 + years industry experience
A.S with 2+ years industry experience in a related science such as Biology, Biochemistry or other science discipline

Nice To Haves

Exposure to cGMP regulations and work experience in a regulated environment are preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine, non-routine, and process environmental monitoring responsibilities as it relates to the QC Microbiology group.
Ensure samples are maintained at proper storage conditions and sample traceability is maintained.
Perform microbiological plate reads and review of laboratory logbooks.
Trending of quality control data and authoring of quarterly trend reports.
Communicate quality control data with cross-functional groups in support of team projects.
Conduct quality investigations for EM excursions (including OOS results).
Assist with standard operating procedure (SOP) reviews per management’s direction.
