About The Position

SpectronRx is a rapidly growing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) based in Indianapolis, IN, with additional locations in South Bend and Bunker Hill, IN, Danbury, CT and Europe. We are seeking an experienced Environmental Monitoring Specialist to join our growing company. The Environmental Monitoring Specialist will ensure compliance and cleanliness in our pharmaceutical production operations.

Requirements

  • Physical Ability – Be able to lift at least 40 lbs
  • Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

  • High School Graduate
  • Minimum of two years pharmaceutical/lab work
  • Work well in a team setting
  • Thorough understanding of project management.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid Indiana driver's license
  • Pass a Background Check.

  • Environmental monitoring/cGMP background
  • Post-high school Sciences degree
  • Ability to train and be trained

Responsibilities

  • Environmental Monitoring (room, equipment, personnel)
  • Cleaning of rooms/equipment, calibration of equipment
  • Follow cGMP requirements
  • Inventory management
  • Tracking/trending data and Deviation follow-up
  • Training/retraining of staff
  • Understand and adhere to radiation safety standards
  • Quality Unit will determine ability to perform Microbiological Duties including subculturing, etc.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
