As a Scientist, your role will be to perform advanced diagnostic testing and analysis, ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of lab procedures and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification.
  • Preferably in Microbiology, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or related scientific discipline.
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2-4 years).
  • Experience performing environmental monitoring/sampling
  • Experience in a GMP lab/GMP documentation

Nice To Haves

  • Technical writing skills is a plus
  • Automated testing experience
  • Microbiology lab experience

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for working with stakeholders from development, clinical, commercial, and manufacturing organizations to ensure microbial control for manufacturing environments.
  • Performing testing to assist in the development and validation of microbiological methods in support of aseptic manufacturing of clinical drug products
  • Executing assays for technology transfer to commercial sites, and new technology evaluation/implementation.
  • Executing EM or microbiological methods (bioburden, endotoxin) within the laboratory or manufacturing facility and providing data to interdisciplinary development teams in support of product development plans.
