About The Position

Join a leading global bio-pharmaceutical company specializing in generic sterile injectable manufacturing as an Environmental Monitoring Analyst I. This role involves participating in the Environmental Monitoring Team responsible for the viable and non-viable monitoring of manufacturing areas, including air, water, and surface sampling. The job includes logging samples in a proprietary LIMS and adhering to cGMP documentation practices. Analysts will also handle water, product, and commodity samples and perform bioburden testing.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related life science field with 0-1+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience in environmental monitoring.
Associates degree or HS diploma with 1-2 years of environmental monitoring experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience in gowning and sampling in an aseptic manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with LIMS and MODA sample tracking system.
Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing and clean room practices.
Understanding of aseptic lab processing and bioburden testing.

Responsibilities

Conduct viable and non-viable environmental monitoring of manufacturing areas.
Log samples in a proprietary LIMS and adhere to cGMP documentation practices.
Process water, product, and commodity samples and perform bioburden testing.
Assist Supervisors in training new hires and integrating them into the pharmaceutical industry.
Act as an interim lead for the supervisor as needed.
Participate in process improvement initiatives.
Perform bioburden testing on water and pharmaceutical product samples.
Test commodities for non-viable or viable particulates.
