Purpose of Role The Environmental Markets Intern supports the trading team by contributing to the accurate execution and analysis of Futures and Options activity within U.S. environmental markets. The role is responsible for assisting with trade input, analyzing market data to inform trading decisions, and conducting research that supports strategy development and market insights. In addition, this role collaborates with team members on trade execution and analytical tasks, helps maintain accurate records of trades and market activity, and builds foundational knowledge of environmental market concepts to strengthen overall trading effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, business analytics, economics, or finance is preferred but business law, computer science, and information systems / technology data science are accepted.
  • Genuine interest in one or more of the program’s departmental tracks.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship, including, but not limited to, F-1, J-1, and M-1 visa holders, as well as individuals on CPT or OPT.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with trade input for Futures and Options transactions.
  • Analyze market data to support trading decisions.
  • Learn and apply concepts from U.S. environmental markets.
  • Conduct research to support trading strategies and insights.
  • Collaborate with team members on trade execution and analysis.
  • Help maintain accurate records of trades and market activity.
