Job Summary Langan is seeking an Environmental Intern / Trainee to join its collaborative team in San Francisco, CA . This individual will play a key role in supporting project managers both as a field representative and as an office professional for environmental and remediation projects in the San Francisco Bay area. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in close collaboration with Langan project and task managers and gain practical field and office experience on high profile projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours per week
  • Reliable transportation to office and job sites

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to project managers and function as a trainee, learning office and field skills related to environmental clean-up and/or remediation projects
  • Serve as a field representative
  • Perform soil and groundwater sampling
  • Monitor construction sites
  • Compile data and prepare reports
  • Perform data entry, table preparation and file management
  • Other duties as requested
