Requirements

Available full time during the Summer 2026 semester (May - August)
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with declared major in chemistry, biology, environmental science, or other related environmental degrees.
Minimum 3.00 GPA

Responsibilities

Gathers, correlates, and analyzes specific data using established procedures.
Performs a variety of routine tasks that will improve the individual’s familiarization with the environmental practices and programs of the Company.
Assists departmental staff with large projects, as needed.
Assist in the development of and gather data for trend analysis and reporting.
Assist in the development and submission of permit applications and planning documents.
Perform site walk downs and material inventory reviews for plan development.
Generate spreadsheets and flow diagrams for the dissemination of key environmental data for both internal and external clients.
Assist with the development of internal computerized training tools.
Plans and controls all activities to provide an accident-free workplace.
Conducts work activities to ensure compliance with environmental rules and regulations.
Regularly review assignments to assure optimum efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Identifies opportunities for improvement and/or suggests improved methods.
Perform other duties as directed and assigned by the manager.
