About The Position

WSP is currently initiating a search for an Environmental Inspector for our client in Baltimore, MD. Be involved in projects with our CM Team and be part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solve their challenges.

Requirements

  • High-School Diploma/GED
  • 5 years of experience in field inspection, including stream, wetland and/or stormwater projects
  • Highly familiar with construction inspection principles, field inspection practices, processes, methods and techniques.
  • Highly familiar with relevant construction codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team to meet business objectives.
  • Solid knowledge in MS Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Solid knowledge of Oracle Contract Management (CM-14)/Oracle Unifier or e-Builder.
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol, and harassment policies.
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Replacement of storm drain inlets and manholes.
  • Installation of storm drain pipes
  • Grading in an outfall forebay.
  • Grading in a Step Pool Storm Conveyance System, downstream of the outfall forebay.
  • Relocating a sanitary sewer pipes
  • Construction of sidewalks, curb and gutter, and asphalt and paving associated with the storm drain and structure construction.
  • Returning site to its original condition.
  • General planting and landscaping.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct, and related policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
