About The Position

Magnera's purpose is to better the world with new possibilities made real. For more than 160 years, the originating companies have delivered the material solutions their partners need to thrive. Through economic upheaval, global pandemics and changing end-user needs, they have consistently found ways to solve problems and exceed expectations. By bringing together these legacy companies, the distinct scale and comprehensive portfolio of products will bring customers more materials and choices. With a combined legacy of resilience, Magnera will build personal partnerships that withstand an ever-changing world. The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Intern will support the Magnera EHS team in promoting a safe and compliant work environment within a manufacturing setting. The intern will assist with a variety of EHS activities including safety audits, hazard identification, incident analysis support, environmental compliance tasks, and safety program improvements. Working closely with EHS professionals, production, and maintenance teams, the intern will gain hands-on experience supporting day-to-day safety operations while learning how EHS programs integrate with overall business performance. A primary responsibility of this internship will be conducting a machine guarding risk assessment project across selected production areas.
