About The Position
Trinity Industries is searching for a dynamic Summer 2026 Environmental Health & Safety Intern at our Office in Fort Worth, TX! The EHS internship is designed to expose students to the many facets of business and culture within Trinity Industries, Inc. Each intern will work on a project-based, real work assignment that aligns with their area of study. Interns will receive firsthand experience with Trinity's culture and business environment through networking opportunities, plant tours and special presentations.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing an Associates or B.S. in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) or related field
- Preferably coming into their senior year of college or newly graduated
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision and take initiative
Responsibilities
- EHS micro-learn development
- Waste water treatment & robotic cleaning SOP development
- Safety work instruction (JSA) development
- LOTO program continuation
- Behavior based safety and compliance observations
