We are seeking a motivated Environmental Health and Safety Intern to support environmental, health, and safety activities within a manufacturing environment. This role provides hands-on exposure to EHS programs, regulatory compliance, and risk management, while also supporting site Lean initiatives and facilities-related activities that improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability. About Your Role: Assist with implementation and maintenance of EHS programs and regulatory compliance activities. Support development and implementation of site-specific EHS policies and procedures. Assist with safety training materials, presentations, and toolbox talks. Support hazardous and non-hazardous waste management activities, including inspections and documentation. Perform EHS inspections and audits of equipment, processes, and facilities. Support EHS aspects of facilities activities, including site inspections, housekeeping standards, and contractor safety support. Assist with Lean and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S, visual management) with a focus on safety and environmental performance. Maintain accurate EHS records and assist with compliance reporting. Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, operations, and facilities teams. What You Will Gain Hands-on experience in a regulated, ISO-certified manufacturing environment. Exposure to EHS practices in semiconductor manufacturing. Practical experience supporting Lean and facilities-related activities. Experience working with cross-functional teams on real-world operational initiatives. About You: Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Basic knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations (preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. DOE Pay Range $21 - $27 per hour This Environmental Health and Safety internship session starts in May or June, depending on intern’s school’s schedule. Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
