About the Role Provide administrative, technical support and coordination to the EH&S Department to ensure regulatory compliance and employee safety.

Requirements

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• Previous experience within an EH&S department or research/healthcare laboratory preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint and SharePoint
• English proficiency
• Basic math skills
• Able to function independently in a team environment
• Able to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast paced and changing environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of computerized and manual EH&S files that include: Training Records TB Testing Records N-95 Respirator Records Accident and incident Reporting Safety committee meeting and action item notes Ergonomic reporting
• Coordinate small and companywide meetings and training sessions for N-95 respirators, TB Testing, Hearing Conservation, CPR and other EHS programs
• Perform monthly checks of all company fire extinguishers, first aid, scrub, spill kits and resupply as needed
• Answer employee EH&S questions by email, in person or on the phone
• Order supplies for EHS including safety glasses and ergonomic equipment
• Research EHS related products, chemicals, ordinances as needed
