The focus of our worldwide activities is on the development and implementation of customized technology and system solutions for surface treatment. We are looking for a Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist to join our EHS team in New Providence, NJ. The EHS Specialist will be accountable to support the EHS programs at the New Providence, NJ facility and will report to the sites EHS Manager. The basis of the BASF EHS initiative includes the preparation of Hazardous Incident Risk Assessments (HIRA), Standard Operating Procedures and Training. The accountabilities include, but are not limited to, hazardous incident identification and management, EHS training, audits and inspections, SOP preparation, hazard communication, MOC, work permits, PPE evaluation, emergency response, process safety and environmental protection.
