About The Position
Senior Manager, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Position Summary The Senior Manager, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of environmental, health, safety, and security programs across U.S. manufacturing sites. This role provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and international regulations while driving a proactive safety culture that protects employees, contractors, visitors, and company assets. The Senior Manager Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) will manage multiple sites and serve as the subject matter expert for complex EHS compliance requirements. This position is accountable for the performance and results of multiple EHS professionals and aligns EHS strategies with overall business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
- Minimum of 10 years of related Environmental Health and Safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management role overseeing multiple sites or teams.
- Or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred.
- Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) preferred.
- OSHA 30-hour preferred.
