About The Position

Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager The EHS Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and continuously improving Viewrail’s Environmental, Health, and Safety systems across all facilities. This role ensures regulatory compliance, drives risk reduction, and builds a safety culture aligned with operational excellence. Requirements

Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and environmental regulations.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills..
Ability to work well in a goal-oriented, team environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong computer skills. (experience with Google Suite preferred)
Effective problem solving, critical thinking, and decision making skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years EHS experience in manufacturing.
30 hour OSHA certification
Current First AID & CPR trainer
Proven experience in plant management or a similar leadership role
Familiarity with budgeting and financial management

Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, IDEM, and applicable DOT regulations.
Maintain all written safety programs, compliance documentation, and records.
Lead audits, inspections, and corrective action tracking.
Manage OSHA logs and incident reporting.
Oversee hazardous waste, Air Permitting, Wastewater treatment, and regulatory compliance reporting.
Safety Leadership & Culture Develop and implement safety strategies aligned with operational goals.
Lead cross-functional initiatives with plant/department leadership.
Promote leadership accountability for safety performance.
Training & Development Deliver required EHS training in person or through our learning management system.
Oversee onboarding safety training materials for new hires.
Maintain certification and training compliance records.
Incident Management Lead root cause investigations.
Work with plant leadership to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Track trends and report KPIs to leadership.
Environmental Stewardship Oversee wastewater treatment and waste disposal.
Manage SDS program and chemical inventory.
Ensure safe handling of machining fluids, coatings, and wash systems.
