About The Position

The Environmental Health and Safety / Facility Maintenance Technician reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and is responsible for inspecting the AerSale facility to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determine corrective or preventive measures where indicated, and provide follow up actions to ensure measures have been implemented. The Environmental Health and Safety / Facility Maintenance Technician will be responsible for investigating on-the-job injury claims to ensure safe practices are followed and to lead the investigation of accidents and injuries and cooperate in the preparation of material and evidence for organizational use in hearings, lawsuits, and insurance investigations. The Environmental Health and Safety / Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for developing and implementing routine safety audits to identify and correct non-compliance conditions, ensure all EHS records are prepared and submitted when necessary, and to manage the disposal of used or discarded chemicals and waste. The Environmental Health and Safety / Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the AerSale – Millington contingency plans and to develop and aid in the implementation of critical safety programs, hazard communication programs, and emergency planning. The Environmental Health and Safety / Facility Maintenance Technician may not delegate their duties and responsibilities to any other persons.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or an Equivalent.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications.
  • Proficient in the English language.
  • Must Successfully complete a comprehensive background check.
  • This position is safety sensitive and adheres to DOT drug and alcohol regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in aviation and/or aircraft maintenance.
  • Knowledge of FAR 145 regulations is a plus.
