Key Responsibilities: The intern will support air quality compliance by partnering with EHS, R&D, and Facilities to evaluate laboratory equipment, processes, and ventilation controls for regulatory applicability and compliance gaps. Day‑to‑day work includes reviewing air quality data, conducting gap and applicability assessments, tracking corrective actions, maintaining documentation, and supporting verification activities. Key deliverables include documented air rule applicability determinations, a maintained action‑item tracker, audit‑ready compliance records, and a final summary and verification report. The project develops technical skills in environmental compliance, risk assessment, and documentation, along with soft skills in cross‑functional collaboration, communication, and project management. This project offers a hands‑on, real-world EHS experience with tangible outcomes, exposure to multiple teams, and highly transferable skills for a future career in environmental health and safety.
