About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Environmental Field Technician to join our team! What You'll Be Doing: In this role, you will perform AFFF cleanout of fire-fighting systems and vehicles and manage water treatment using state-of-the-art technology. This position requires skills and experience associated with the wastewater treatment industry and will involve manual labor, heavy lifting, heavy travel, and overtime.

Requirements

• High School diploma, or equivalent, and typically 4+ years of related work experience, or a Associate's Degree in a related field with 2+ years of experience.
• Completion of a 40-hour OSHA training course (with an annual 8-hour update) is required for industrial or hazardous wastewater operations.

Nice To Haves

• Have experience with operation of remedial systems, particularly water treatment systems (flocculation, fluid circulation systems, etc.).
• Have experience with the collection and management of environmental samples for laboratory analysis.
• Be an effective communicator verbally and in writing.
• You must be able to write and edit plans, reports and procedures, and work within the MS Office suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel
