About The Position

O6 Environmental is a self-performing environmental contractor with over 20 years of experience delivering complex remediation, industrial cleaning, demolition, and waste management projects across the U.S. With offices throughout the Midwest and South-Central regions, we specialize in environmental construction solutions that meet the toughest regulatory and technical challenges in the industry. O6 Environmental is seeking motivated and safety-focused Environmental Field Technicians to support a long-term remediation project in the Beaumont, TX area. This is an excellent opportunity to grow with a team-oriented, fast-paced company working on meaningful environmental cleanup projects.

Requirements

Ability to operate light/heavy equipment (preferred but not required)
Willingness to follow safety protocols and wear required PPE
Ability to work in teams and take direction from site leadership
Capable of working in physically demanding environments in all weather conditions
Willingness to shave and wear a respirator if needed
40-Hour HAZWOPER certification (preferred, but training can be provided)
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Six (6) months of construction or general labor experience preferred
Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening

Responsibilities

Perform general site labor and assist crews with environmental cleanup and construction activities
Operate light-to-medium equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, forklifts, and pressure washers
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
Follow all site-specific safety and environmental protocols
Wear PPE including respirators as required
