About The Position

Ponder Environmental Services is seeking an Environmental Field Supervisor to oversee daily field activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge and a commitment to safety and training excellence.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required; additional technical training preferred.
5-7 years of relevant field experience in environmental, construction, or industrial operations.
2 years minimum of supervisory experience
Knowledge of construction, pumping systems, confined space entry, and chemical handling.
Experience with heavy equipment, respiratory protection, and PPE usage.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Valid California Driver’s License and a clean DMV required
40-hour HAZWOPER certification required.
TWIC Card
HAZMAT Certification
40-Hour HAZWOPER with current 8-hour refresher
Confined Space Entry & Rescue
First Aid/CPR Certification

Responsibilities

Supervise, mentor, and train field operations personnel and lead technicians.
Coordinate and direct on-site activities, including clean-up crews and equipment operations.
Operate and maintain field equipment, including heavy machinery and forklifts.
Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of field systems and tools.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards, permits, and company policies.
Accurately complete company and customer documentation in a timely manner.
Maintain clear communication with clients, operations, dispatch, and crew members.
Travel and overtime may be required.
